Hebron | 07-05-2026 In the context of promoting the use of modern technologies in the accounting profession and keeping pace with the rapid developments in employing artificial intelligence in auditing practices, the Palestinian Association of Certified Public Accountants reconvened its specialized training course on “Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Audit Planning, Audit Execution, and Audit Reporting.” The course was held in Hebron with the participation of several auditors from the Association’s General Assembly members. It was delivered by Dr. Firas Barakat, who presented practical applications of artificial intelligence in auditing, including efficient financial data analysis, risk detection, identification of unusual patterns, and supporting professional decision-making throughout the various stages of the audit process to enhance the quality and accuracy of reports.
The training also focused on equipping participants with modern tools and knowledge that enable them to integrate AI technologies into their daily work, thereby improving performance efficiency and elevating professional practice in line with international best standards. Reoffering this course in Hebron comes as part of the Association’s efforts to broaden the benefits and expand its training programs across different governorates of Palestine.
