Nablus, 14 May 2026 – The Palestinian Association of Certified Public Accountants in Nablus concluded its specialized training course entitled: “Artificial Intelligence Applications in Audit Planning, Audit Execution, and Audit Reporting.” The course was graciously hosted by the Nablus Businessmen Forum, following earlier sessions held in Ramallah and Hebron. This initiative comes as part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to strengthen specialized training programs and provide opportunities for a larger number of auditors to benefit from modern developments in the auditing profession and keep pace with digital transformation in the professional work environment.
The course was delivered by Dr. Firas Barakat, who presented key practical applications of artificial intelligence in auditing, including methods of employing AI in financial data analysis, risk assessment, enhancing the efficiency of audit procedures, and improving the quality of professional reports in line with modern international standards.
The training witnessed wide interaction from participants, members of the General Assembly, reflecting the growing interest in adopting modern technologies and utilizing them to advance professional performance and elevate auditing practices in ways that enhance the quality of professional services and the effectiveness of oversight work.

At the conclusion of the course, the Association—represented by Chairman of the Board Mr. Mohammad Akram Hassouna and Board members—extended its sincere thanks and appreciation to the Nablus Businessmen Forum, represented by Chairman of the Board Mr. Jihad Al-Banna and Board members, for their warm reception and generous hospitality.
