On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the specialized training program on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) commenced, led by Dr. Jum’a Hamidat, an expert in international standards, with the participation of a distinguished group of Palestinian auditors in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The program is being held at the headquarters of the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants. It aims to enhance participants’ professional knowledge of the latest requirements of international financial reporting standards, and to develop their practical application skills in line with best global practices, reflecting the Association’s commitment to advancing the profession’s efficiency and improving the quality of financial reporting

 

The training program continued until Tuesday, June 30, 2026, featuring intensive training sessions and specialized professional discussions

On the sidelines of the program, members of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Association of Certified Public Accountants — Mr. Saad Al-Tamimi, Mr. Ziyad Bali, Dr. Nidal Nirokh, and Mr. Bilal Al-Fares, the Association’s Executive Director — along with several participating auditors, met with Mr. Hussam Rahal, President of the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants, and a number of board members.

During the meeting, the Association expressed its pride in the deep professional and fraternal ties between the two associations. Views were exchanged on several professional issues of mutual interest, and ways to strengthen cooperation and share expertise were discussed, in service of the accounting and auditing profession in both brotherly countries

 

The Palestinian delegation expressed its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants for their warm welcome and generous hospitality, affirming that this initiative reflects the spirit of cooperation and integration between the two institutions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, commemorative shields were exchanged between both sides, and the Palestinian delegation conveyed the greetings of the President and members of the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Association of Certified Public Accountants, expressing their aspiration to continue and further strengthen this fruitful cooperation in the coming stage
