Hebron – July 19, 2026 – The Palestinian Association of Certified Public Accountants today concluded in Hebron a series of specialized training courses on quality management standards (ISQM 1 and ISQM 2), organized within the framework of the “EU Support to Improve the Quality Assurance Performance in Audit Firms and Sole Practitioners” project funded by the European Union.
The final session brought together more than 45 certified public accountants from the southern West Bank governorates, as part of a training program designed to strengthen auditors’ capacities and enable them to implement quality management requirements in line with international best practices.
The Association had previously conducted these courses in Bethlehem, Nablus, and Ramallah, concluding today in Hebron. This ensured that a wide number of auditors across the West Bank could participate and benefit from the program. The training was delivered by distinguished colleague Faiz Abahreh.
These courses form part of the Association’s ongoing efforts to enhance the efficiency of the auditing profession in Palestine and to promote the application of quality management standards within audit firms and offices. The initiative aims to positively impact the quality of auditing services and reinforce trust in the profession’s outputs, within the framework of the Association’s partnership with the European Union to advance the quality assurance system and elevate the professional performance of certified public accountants in Palestine.
